VETERANS V. CADETS.
A meeting was held in the Settler office on Tuesday night, to make arrangements for the annur 1 miich of Veterans v. Cadets, when about a dozen enlbu. asts attended, Mr E. C. Folwatser presiding. It was decided that the match be played on Saturday, July 9tb, com mencing at 2 p.m. Mr W. A. Gosling was app< inted secretary, whilst all details were left in the hands of Messrs Gos’ing and Fat wasser. After discussion, it was resolved that a ball be held on Friday, July Bth, the tickets for which were fixed at 2s and Is. The teams will be chosen from the following players, aud it is requested that those unable to participate iu the game w : I com uuuicate with Mr Gosling as early as possible : —Veterans : Gosling, W. Morgan, Pearson, Symons, Crotty, Jourdain, T. Soott, R. M‘Cardle, E. Pearce, P. Be’ , C. Ihll, Derecourt, J. Falwasser, Tai, 110 , Green, Howe, Rrodall and osiers: Cadets: Pettit, Prentice, E. F; wasser, Hamilton, H. Armstrong, Edwarf (8), Shrieber Brough, R mu, King, C. p.nd W. Armstrong, VVhanga, Coe (2).
