On May 23rd, the B tainers, gave a perform vic.to a good house. On Saturday, 27th in J Zealand Lian and Mheld another of their pe here. A fair number <-f . yarded, and prices were .;■» better than thvy have been for months. Neatly all the cattle y»r i J were sold at satisfactory price< A small number of limbs reached 9, 91 per bead. Horses were not reqai and what were put up only reacaeh half their yaluo and were passed in. Furniture and sundries also sold at good value, and it was the best sale as far as prices go that has been held here for sometime. The weather is all that can ba expected for this time ot the year. King Sol has given us a fair share of hb warmth lately, likewise Jupiter Pluvial has given us enough rain to make things damp and cold.
