A NEW BREED OF COW.
(to tub editor.) Sir,—Ou reading Mr Danca’e ad* • ertisemsut appearing in your paper, ( was greatly taksn with the picture of (evidently) a new and special breed of c >w, which shouid prove a great bx>n m the yjung and energetic settlers of bis rising district. If the drawing w i fac simile of tbe original (and I have io doubt it is Mr Dance bung the list mm to impose on public erehdity), these cuws ought to prove exupaanally good milkers and butter fat irod icars. Settlers mten liug to adopt bis breed should book their orders sarly with E A. D inoe. Tbe Premier's i itcention shouid aho be drawn to the '4b ,ve facte, when I hive m doubt .bat the State farms would be ordered to stock this kied of c ittle, and thus guarantee tbe purity of the breed. I im given to understand that tbe breed Is known as the “ Seddon cow.”— Yours, etc-, BOSIE FARBACK.
