A COMPLAINT.

Sra, —in your issue of the 14th lust, appeared a paragraph, stating that your atttention had been drawn to a couple of post, recently erected near the premises of Messrs Dance and Maxted which have caused an. noyanoe to wayfarers, besides being dangerous, etc. Now, Sir, such is no doubt the case, and such matters should at all times catch your eagle eye, since prevention is better than on.e so tbe posts should be immediately removed. But I have a much graver complaint to make regarding tbe barbed wire-topped fence ot construction in front of a building ia the main street. Without trespassing too much upon your valuable sptoa, 1 sh< n d like to say that after a short pe. iod of absence from Kawhia I i«turued at night (which was a dhtk one), and hat ug severely shaken my frame upon one of the aforesaid and used words contrary to t'-ie Prayu Book, I pro eded on my way, only to bs cau-bs, lorn, la.sra.ed and bl .
