A Model Farm.
The Acting Director of AgricuH’ fir Victoria (Dr Cherry) has bad brought under his notice by Mr R. T. Archdr, uno of ihe dairy supervisors of the department, the 12 months’ returns from a 85-acra farm in South Gipp.dand. While dairying is the chief mainstay of tho farm, it will he seen from the particulars given below that a number of subsidiary interests have very largely increased the casif returns for the 12 months :
Proceeds from 15 cows, with calves anl pigs, 7s ;or per cow, >£l6 Is 7d. For ciilk alone, j£l2 Is 4d. Per acre (gross), £9 Is bd.
