Macdermott’s Bioscope.
To • night Macdermott's unique micro-bioscope will appear in Scott's Hall, Kawbia, for the first time and will exhibit some startling scenes from the war between Russia and Japsn. Although new here, the company has made a splendid colonial reputation, having toured New Zealand’s large . cities many times during the last six years, always crowding the largest theates. A recent visit to Australia resulted in Mr Macdermott being fined £5 for overcrowding one of the large halls in Melbourne. The Company's present programme is full of good things. In addition to exciting war scenes, some interesting genuirre pictures of life and manners in the East, the micro-bioscope, of enlarged animal life, an up-to-date bee farm, startling trick and illusion films, and the marvellous Melba song records. Professor W. E. Scott will entertain theaedienca with feats of legerdemain, ventrilo» quism, banjo solos, and musical itom^ t of which the press everywhere speak* in high praise. K
