Kawhia Hack Races.

A meeting of the committee of the above was held in Mr Falwueor'o office on Tuesday night, when about a dozen members were present (Mr E. Falwaseer in the chair). After the minutes had been read find confirmed, the following resolutions were carried: That the offer of the Kawbia Brass Band to play on the day of the races for the sum of £8 be accepted; that Mrs M. Falwasaor’a tender for the refreshment booth at £2 bo accepted; that the secretary procure refreshments for the committee. Ths meeting closed with the usual vote of thanks. NOMINATIONS (AND WEIGHTS.
