Oparau.
saoM cue own cobbbsponoxnt. A bridge is to be built over the Omanoura on the road to Te Bau-a-moa at onoa. I understand that the eoniract for timber and carting has been let. Favoured by splendid weather, burning is still going on, the burns being good ones. Seed sowing will start when the weather breaks.
A few plants of ragwort have been seen hare, but have been promptly dug out. It is io be hoped that a bridge will be put over the stream at tbs lower landing, as we could then get a shod and a crane erected.
Messrs Symonds and Co.'a mill will start next week, with enough local orders to k«m ii going for a while. Thia is a good sign.
