Na nga nupepa i whaki mai te paroro-nui i kitea ki nga takiwa o tetahi wahi o Amerika. Ka puta te tupuhi, ka riri nei te ua i tana riri, kaore i ngenge, kaore i aha. Te pupuketanga ake ra o nga wai o te awa, ka eke kei nga pareparenga; a, takitaro kei nga mania, kei nga taumata. Te harurutanga o te wai, kei nga whatitoka o te whare, kei nga matapihi, kei nga maihi o te whare, kei -nga heke, a, tau! ka kinga. Haere taiepa, haere taonga-whare, te turu, te pouaka, te piana, haere whare, haere hoiho, haere okiha, haere kuri, aha, aha. Kotahi te kau mano tangata i kuhukuhu noa atu, na te mea, ko nga whare, me nga taonga i rumakina kite wai.
