TE KAI TUKU. Ite Po. He tangata ko ia anake, ka eke ki maunga Oriwa, e pouri ana tona mata ano mete po. Ko te tangata kino ia e ngarahu ana i te mea kino, he tama ia na te rewera. Ka tapoko ia kite taone nui, ka tu kite tatau o tetahi whare nui, ka uaki te kai tiaki tatau ki a ia, ka tika ia ra waenganui o te marae o te whare nui, ka tomo ki tetehi whare whakawa. Na whaka menea ana ki reira he tokomaha nga tangata taonga he hunga whakapehapeha. Ka whakatakoto korero ratou ka ata ngarahu marie, he kohuru ranei ta ratou e ata ngarahu nei ? (Tera atu te roanga.)
