COMMAND OF THE SEAS. LESSONS OP WAR. London, Monday. Mr Winßton Churchill, First Lord of the Admiralty, speaking in the House of Commons, said that only sixty-three vessels, excldßive of minesweeping trawlers, had been lost since the war began, while the situation on every sea was unchallenged. The lobs to the navy totalled GSOO officers and men killed, but we had killed an equal number. The command of the aea enabled uh to carry throughout the world a milr lion men without accident or loss of life. The Falklnndß victory had almost entirely freed the outer seas, while the 'Dogger Bank action, in which the Bluchor wan sunk, wub of immense value and significance, throwI ing light upon the rival syatoma of design and armament.
