NEW ZEALANDERS ENGAGED Dunedin, Sunday. The Hon. James Allen (Minister for Defence), has received cable advice that the Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago battalions of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force all took part in last week's engagement against the Turks at the Suez Canal. Mr Allen has also received a cablegram from Cairo informing him of the death of Private Ham, if Motueka, who was dangerously wounded in the neck at Serapeum on the 3rd. The death is announced of Captain J. A. T. Bell, of the New Zealand
