Prior to the Christmas holidays the settlers of the Moeatoa district forwarded a petition to the Minister of Public Works through Mr W. T. Jennings, member for the district. A telegram from the settlers to Mr Jennings now states that three gangs are to be put on the Pomerangi road, ind urges the member for the district to;, use his efforts to have the vote expended.
