BELGIAN FUND.

EUCHRE PARTY AT ARIA

On Tuesday, January 19th, at Aria Hall, a euchre party and dance was given in aid of the Belgian fund. A moat enjoyable evening was spent. The ladies' first prize was won by Miss M. Sangster, which.Was kindly given by Mr N. Teady. The second ladies' prize was won by Miss M. Dcllimore. The gentleman's first prize, given by Mr L: Holloway, was won by Mr Dunbar, with Mr Smith second, Mr J. Telfar winning the booby prize. There was also a guessing competition, for the bride's name, which was won by Master J. Northcote. The dance music was played by Mr Aspl n, of Pio Pio. The supper was supplied by Mrs Telfar, ably assisted by Mrs Jillet, of Urenui. The piano was kindly lent by Mrs Dunn, of Aria. Ihe sum of £5 was netted for the fund, and forwarded to Te Kuiti.
