This evening and Monday a great .star picture will be screened, entitled "A House Divided," which met with unbounded enthusisam in Auckland last week, supported by an attractive programme of comic, scenic, and dramatic films. On Tuesday and Wednesday the fourteenth chapter of "Lucille Love" will be screened. The People's Picture Palace management have secured the Bole right to screen "The House of Tempany," ''lt's a Long Way to. Tipperary,'' etc., and the pictures will be shown at an early date. EMPRESS PICTURES. The change of programme for tonight ia headed by a Nordisk star entitled "As Sow." The supporting programme ia a well-selected series of topical, educational, dramatic, and comedy subjects, including the latest War Gazette. For Tuesday and Wednesday the star photo play of the hour will be screened, entitled "England's Menace," showing the theatrical invasion of England and exposing : nefarous foreign methods. TLatest war films from the front will be screened, "Battle Around Dixmunde," and scenes in the Belgian capital.
