TURKISH SOLDIERS' PLIGHT.
900 FROZEN TO DEATH. RUSSIANS CAPTURE REMAINDER. Received this day, 10.10 a.m. Petrograd, Tuesday. In a wood at Kauraurgan the Russians found nine hundred Turks frozen to death, their icy hands grasping their rifles. The temperature was thirteen below zero Those alive actually attempted to fight, but were quickly captured. During the last fortnight in December Doitreff captured 311 Austrian officers, 22,269 soldiers, and 52 guns.
