AMUSEMENTS.
PEOPLE'S PICTURE PALACE. The programme at the People's Picturn Palace is a really first-class one, and the interest in the serial drama, "Lucille Love," is maintained. The attraction of the evening is a splendid picture entitled "Human Driftwood," a drama of intense interest, xhe supporting programme adds to the enjoyment of the evening. EMPRESS PICTURES.
The latest war films from the front, entitled "The Evacuation of Ghent and Ostend," will be included in to-night's programme. The Btar picture, "Tranpad," will be supported by an interesting programme and a Clarendon topical, entitled "For King and Country." Tne usual change of programme will be made for Thursday and Friday night, when a Nordisk star in three parts, entitled "A Deal With the Devil," will be screened.
