Wellington lost an excellent dance of-winning the Plunket Shield by ;-,»>]- lapsing in their second innings. Cantetbury mßde 232, to which Wellington replied with 115, Canterbury thus winning by 92 runs. In both innings Canterbury's fielding waa of a superior order.
