HOLES DRILLED BY RUSSIAN SHELLS.
FIVE BOSPHORUS FORTS DESTROYED. London, Thursday. Some of the Goeben's toilers mere burned out as the result of her rapid steaming from the Black Sea to the Bosphorus, while three large holes were drilled in the starboard side by the Russian shells, tha mechanism of the,aft turrets . being severely damaged. Fifty Germans were killed during the action, 48 having been bimed secretly in the Embassy garden, while 200 wounded Were treated aboard. During the recent bombardment of the .Dardanelles five forts were put completely ouf; of action.
