When meat- is very slightly tainted iry throwing- a few nieces of charcoal .nto the pot into which it is being- cooked.. This will make it quile sweet, and prevent any unpleasant odour arising while is it boiling.
To make breadcrumbs quickly, placo a piece of crumb in a muslin bag, tio the opening, and rub willr the hands. The crumbs will be qui to fine, and it will only take a minute or two to bake •iliem.
