Official.—lsolated German attacks continue between the Lower Vistula and Pilitza. An abortive attack southeast of Skeirniwice resulted in grave German losses. The Austrians have evacuated the left bank of the Nida, and were driven out of Sditniki after an obstinate defence. Tho fighting on the Optavie-Biecd line continues to favour the Russians, who captured from the 18th to the 26th 200 officers, 15,000 men, and 40 machine guns. The enemy's retreat at Dukla Pass is now precipitate and disorderly. Five thousand prisoners were tnken on the 26th.
