A great Liberal rally will be held in Te Kuiti next Wednesday evening, when all supporters —local and country—are invited to be present. The well-known Te Kuiti architects, Messrs Baker and St. George have received word to the eiiact that their design for municipal offices, town hall and library for Masterton was awarled second place among the competitors for the building, the successful architect being a ■ Masterion architect. The building is to coat £7500 with seating capacity in the hall up to a thousand. Nineteen plans were submitted for competition, and Messrs Baker and St. George were highly complimented on their design. The amount of £IOO was allotted to the three best designs, £SO being awarded for first, £3O for second, and £2O for third.
