GERMANS IN RETREAT.
YSER BATTERIES SILENT. London, Wednesday
Router's corresponant at Boulogne reports that the Germans who were forcing the Allies' left wing are beginning to retreat towards Rruges. German batteries between Nieuport and Dixmude have been silenced. They make no reply to the Allies' artillery on the Yser.
REINFORCEMENT RUSHING TO FLANDERS. Amsterdam, Wednesday. Six trains, full of t-oldiers and sailors, and carrying planks, sacks, and small boats, have left Louvain in the direction of Brussels, and are apparently bound for West Flanders. Nine military and six ambulance trains, and another containing heavy guns, have passed through Landen, between Li?ge and Brussels, and' are proceeding westwards. Another account states that 120,000 men, including many cavalry and 250 guns, are being 3ent to reinforce the army in Flanders.
