RUMANIA MAY INTERVENE. Sofia, Wednesday. Tha Austrian advance on Servia threatens to cut off Roumania from Western Europe and prevent the arrival of American goods. This fact is likely to cause Roumania to intervene.

Servia recently asiked whether shß objected to her making territorial concessions to Bulgaria. Roumania replied that she would be happy to see the quarrels of her neighbours adjusted. Meanwhile Germany is making desperate efforts to conciliate Bulgaria, and has offered her Salonika, explaining to Bulgaria that Bhe will be less niggardly in trade concesions than Austria has been.
