Official.—The battles progress on the Vistula and Warta front, and on the Czernstochoa-Cracow line are extremely desperate presenting generally alteration of offensive and defensive. The German trenches eastward of Ajerburg, East Prussia, were defended by triple vertical lines of wire entanglements.
