SIGNS OF THE TIMES.

That Teddy bears will be popular this Christmas goes without saying—their popularity bag been on the- increase ever since they were introduced. There is a splendid show of bears just now in Robinson's window. The Czar himself could scarcely show better specimens. Dolla also have special attention at Robinson's this week, and the variety on exhibit is very evidently of interest to the children. Inside, the shop is packed from floor to ceiling with good things. Toys and presents of every description are there in superabundance. Santa Glaus will not be in difficulties this year after all —in spite of the war. Very noticeable both in variety and valuo are the glove and hankerchief sets. There are also very special values in pictures and frames. The musical department is, of courrse, well to the fore. *
