"Hbb it an iron frame?" is the mostfrequent enquiry that the piano salesman hears. Almost all pianos are now made with iron frames, but there are great differences even in the frames of pianos. The many points which go to the making of a good piano are matters of great technicality and pianos to exactly similar specifications may differ in their initial cost by a good many tens of pounds. When buving a piano, the vital essential iB to deal with a firm of good repute. Great annoyance and muchl money would be saveed if buyers universally adopted the plan of dealing only with dealers.
