The Post's Athena' correspondent states the British colony at Smyrna desire to leave, being doubtful of tho assurances given the American Consul that lives and property cf foreir.natH would ba protected. They were riot permitted to leavp, and the Turkish cannon command the height?. It is believed they will shell tho colony if the Allies attempt to take tl:o city from the sea.
