EMDEN STILL OPERATING.

FOUR STEAMERS SUNK. London, Wednesday. Lloyd's agent at Colombo reportß that the German cruiser Emden sank three British Bteamers, the Chilka, Troilus, Ben Mohr, and Clan Grant, also the dredge Pourabbel, bound for Tasmania, and captured the steamer Exford, 150 miles Bouth-west of Cochin, on the south-west coast of India. Captain Miacapello, of the Italian steamer Loredano, warned and thereby saved saveral British vessels from tha Emden in the Bay of Bengal. Lord Claude Cfirmichael, of Madras, presented a gold watch to Captain Miacapello and rewarded the crew.
