SUCCESSES IN BELGIUM. GERMANY'S NERVOUS FORCES. Received Friday, 8 p.m. London, Thursday. The Daily *Mail corespondent in France says the Germans in the Ostend region are getting nervy. Increasing numbers of wounded are arriving. Discarded uniforms found at Duba and Zebruzzee suggest German desertions. Though the fighting ia fierce tha Germans give the impression of lassitude,' and exhaustion to a marked degree. Their rapid retreat south of tha weatern flankerH was thought to be tha prelude to a general retreat. It has been a glorious week of heroic deeds against big odds. A fpw days ago Belgium was wholly German: now even the most pessimistic ara counting the days till the enniy'a crumbled forces will be headed back to their own country.
