POLITICAL CAMPAIGN.
MR WILSON AT OTOROHANGA. Mr C. K. Wilson, member for the district, addressed and representative gathering both at Otewa and Otorohanga on Monday. His speeches were on the lines of the address he gave in Te Euiti', and he was accorded a splendid hearing in both places. At the conclusion of his meeting in Otorohanga, Mr Wilson stated that, as the ballot box was the place for the voters to declare themselves, he was making it a rule right through his campaign to ask his supporters not to propose any votes of confidence. The meetings closed with a vote of thanks an 3 cheers for Mr Wilson. MR JENNINGS AT MATIERE. On .Friday night at Matiera Mr W. T. Jennings, Opposition candidate for Taum'arunui, delivered an address to a very large audience. Mr Jebb presided. At the conclusion of the address a motion of thanks and confidence was carried unanimously.
