TE KUITI HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
The committee of the Te Kuiti Hortiiultural Society met in the secretary's rooms on Monday evening. A suggestion was received from the Auckland Horticultural Society that an assosiation should be formed. —lt was resolved that the Te Kuiti Horticultural Society favour the step proposed by the Auckland Society and would like to be notified when further steps are taken in the matter. The sub-committee appointed to arrange matters in connection with the poultry section reported that a good number of prizes had already been donated, and that matters were progressing favourably.
It was resolved that the ladies' committee ne asked to meet at an early date to make arrangements in connection with the home industry section, afternoon tea, etc. Resolved that a further consigrment of six dozen nhow vases be purchased.
The committee decided to meet again on Monday evening next, October 19th, at 7.30 o'clock, in Mr Walker's rooms.
Attention is drawn to the advertisement Appearing in connection with tha Rundle Benefit on Labour Day. The many attractive faeturea on the programme should ensure a great amount of public support and an enjoyable outing can be for.
