Prices:—Beat three year heifers at profit 9,1 to £7 17a 6d, medium heifers £6 2a 6d to £6 15a, others £5 to £5 15s, dairy cows £6 ,12s 6d to £7 15a, dairy cows two year empty heifers £4 Is, empty cows in fresh condition £4 9a to £5, fat cows £7- 17s to £9, forward cows £5 10b to £6 Bs, fat steers £lO 10s. TE ANGA SALE At Te Anga, on the same day, yearling steera made £2 14s to £3 7s, heifers £2 7s to £3, two year steers £4 14s, cows in fresh condition £4 12s. KAUROA SALE. At Kauroa on Friday, we had an entry of 188 head of cattle, which sold at satisfactory prices. Two year steers made £4 Is to £5 3s, two and a half year steers £6 ss, good fifteen month steers £8 13s to £3l Bs, eighteen month to two year heifers £8 103 to £3 17b,; empty store cows £3 30s to £4 12s 6d.

Newton King reports:— On 6th inst. at Rahbtu, there was a small entry which sold as follows: — Small yearling heifers 27s 6d to 295, good yearlines £2 5s 6d to £2 16s, rough yearling steers £2 lis, bulla £5 .ss, springing heifers £4,17s 6d to £6 10a, dairy cows £7 to £7 10s, empty 20 month hiefers £3 6s 6d, forward cows £5 2s to £5 lis, store cows £3 lis to £4 13s.

On the same day at Stratford I had a good entry of springing heifers for my morning sale with a good attendance 9 very satisfactory prices being made, the 45 heifers averaging £6 ss, best springing heifers made from £6 5s to £8 ss, good sorts £5 to £5 1756 d, smaler heifers £3 10s to £4 10s, dairy cows £6l 5s to £lO. Attention is drawn to tha Bpring cattle sale to be held at tha Feilding sals yards on Friday, 23rd inst. Soma 1800 head-of cattle of all classes will be submitted in lots to suit purchases A 3pe2ial entry will be offered on account of Mr P. A. McHardy, comprising 200 forward conditoned P. A. Shorthorn and Hereford-Shorthorn cross bullocks.
