The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency report:— At Te Kuiti on 16th inst., 2 year ataera made £4 17a to £5, 12 to 14 months steers £3 7a to £3 13s, heifers £2 16s to £3 ss.'2£ year heifers in calf £4 12s 6d to £5, dairy cows. £6 10s to £6 15s, woolly hoggets 16s. There was a strong demand for all classes of stock, and a very large number of one to two year steers is. required now in this district. At Gtorohanga there was a large attendance of bjyers, but only a medium entry, which sold freely. We quote: Fat and forward cows £5 14s to £6 15s, yearling heifers £2 12s to £2 15s, springing heifers £6 to £7 53, dairy cows £6 7s 6d to £7 10s, good hoggets 17s, email do. 14s 3d.
