The German cruiser Emden has captured six British ships in the Bay of Bengal The Emden is now being pursued by a British cruiser. The destruction of Rheims cathedral has aroused intense indignation in Italy, and the inhabitants of Rome made a demonslrationibefore the British Embassy, shouting " Long live Britain, the friend of Italy."
