BOROUGH OF TE KUITI. In tha matter of "The Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1913 "The Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913," and "The Local Bodieß' Loans Act, 1913." PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Borough of Te Kuiti will be taken on FRIDAY, the 16th day of October 1914, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., upon tie proposal of the To Kuiti Borough Council to raise a Special Loan of Two Thousand Pounds (£2ooii) under the provisions of the "The Local Bodies Loans Act 3913," for the purpose of meeting the Council's undertaking with the Audit Department to refund a sum of £IOOO to Loan Account No. 2 for the repayment of the original stone crusher and road roller; repaying cost of second stone crusher and fittings, also quarry land at Te Kuroi, not authorised in Loan No. 5 schedule, and now taken exception to by the Audit Department; contingencies, first year's interest, flotation expanses etc. The Polling Booth will be situated in the Town Clerk's Office, Rora street, Te Kuiti.
