PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Borough of Te Kuiti will be taken on FRIDAY, the 16th day of October 1914, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., upon tie proposal of the To Kuiti Borough Council to raise a Special Loan of Two Thousand Pounds (£2ooii) under the provisions of the "The Local Bodies Loans Act 3913," for the purpose of meeting the Council's undertaking with the Audit Department to refund a sum of £IOOO to Loan Account No. 2 for the repayment of the original stone crusher and road roller; repaying cost of second stone crusher and fittings, also quarry land at Te Kuroi, not authorised in Loan No. 5 schedule, and now taken exception to by the Audit Department; contingencies, first year's interest, flotation expanses etc. The Polling Booth will be situated in the Town Clerk's Office, Rora street, Te Kuiti.
