THE SEASON'S PROGRAMME In view of the announcement that the Government is prepared to meet all commitments for money made by the Advances Department, it ib interesting to note the various works which are now in hand or pending under the administration of the Waitomo County Council by means of loan money. The various loans granted are as follows:—-Pungarehu, £290.0; Ouruwhero, £1,250; Mangakowhni, £600; Mairoa, £2000; Waiteti, £1000; Otewa. £1750: Kio Kh>, £5000; Paraheka, £7500; making :i total of £22,000. The subsidies attaching to the foregoing umountß, which have already been granted, amount to £16,750, but it hus not yet been ascertained whether the subsidies will bo avuilalilu for expenditure.
