PEOPLES' PICTURE PALACE

The official opening of the above picture theatre) was perfurmed by the Mayor in the Town flail last evening, when the building was crowded, all available seating accommodation being occupied before 8 o'clock. The proceeds of the evening was being generously donated to by the management to the Patriotic Fund and a cheque for the Bum of £l6 6s 6d was handed to the Mayor during the interval.
