WAITANGURU.
Own Correspondent. Of late we have been experiencing very wintry weather and the country wears a very cold appearance as a conßequence. Feed is Bomewhat scarce as is usual at this period of the year in most districts, but there still remains sufficient to enable the stock to get more than a bare existence, and ennough to enable the farmers to bring their cows in in good condition. A good number of cows will be in by August, and it is to be hoped that there will be a sufficient quantity of cream to warrant the recommencement of the local factory in September. Mr V, L. Jackson is busy preparing a site for the erection of a new cowshed, and hopes to have it entirely completed by the coromercement of t!ie season. Mr N. L. Thomas hopes to have his new and up to-date cowshed erected very Boon ready for the insallation of his milking machine. M G. Dew haa almost completed the addition to his residence, which adds quite a comfortable aspect to his bouse.
