Danish, steady, 115 ato 117s; New; Zealand, quiet,. 108s to 112s; Australian, 100s to 104 a; Siberian, fair demand, 98s to 102s; Irish creamery, 106s to 110s. Cheese.—Market quiet. Canadian old make, quiet, 68s to 7 0s; new make, quiet, white 62s to 635, eol« cured 68s to 645; New Zealand, quiet, white<64s to 655, coloured 65s to 665. Wool.—The market is quiet, but firm.

Dalgety and Company, Limited, report:— . HAMILTON SALE. In th 9 Hamilton yards on 18th inst., we held our usual tri-weekly stock sale when we yarded 5196 sheep and 527 head of cattle. All classes of sheep were in gobd demand, especially hoggets, and with the exception of a line of ewes in lamb and a line of W.ethers, we were successful in disposing of the. whole yarding. All classes of cattle sold at advanced prices. We quote:—Fat wethers 20s to 26s 3d. fat ewes 18s to 225, fat hoggets 15s to 16s 9d, store wethers, 4 tooth and 6 tooth 23s 6d to 24s 9d, 2 tooths 20s lOd to. 235, woolly hoggets 14s Id to 163, shorn hoggets 12s to 15p, empty ewes 13s lOd to 15s 4d, ewes in lamb, good 23s 6d to 25s 9d, poorer sorts 20s 9d to 22s lid, fat cows £6 lis to £7 ss, light weights £5 8s to £6,3 year "teers £6 10a to £6 17a 6d, 2J to 3 year ateers £4 15s to £6. empty cows £3 5s to £4 ss, good calves £2 9s to £1 4s to £1 18e, yearling heifers £3 Is, heifers in ralf £3 10s to £5, springing cows £5 io £7 10s,springing heifers £6 2s 6d to £7 15s.
