On .appeal by the master builders, the Arbitration Court refused' the carpenters' demand for a redaction of working hours to forty-foar.week-ly. The Court also declined to grant preference to men employed in the building trades General dissatisfaction in expressed at the terms of the award, and meetinga have been: called to review the position. Similar dissatisfaction is felt in Melbourne, where strike is talked.
