VOTE OF THANKS AND CONFIDENCE.
In accordance with arrangement the Hon W. F. Massey, Prime Minister, arrived at Te Kuiti on Thursday forenoon by the expreaa from Palmerston North. By the same train the Mayor of To Kuiti, Mr J. Boddie travelled on hia return from the Dairy Conference at Palmerator. The Mnisterial party waa met at the railway Nation by Mr C. K. Wilson, member for the district, and members of the Borough Council, as well as a large number of citizens. Mr Maseey was put up at Morgan's Commercial Hotel, and after a ihort rest, wbb taken for a motor run to
the racecourse at Te Kami by the president of the Racing Clob, Mr A. P. Howarth, and some of the committee. On hia return, the Prime Minister was entertained at luncheon at the Commercial Hotel by the Mayor and councillors. After luncheon an adjournment was made to the Municipal Chambers where- Mr Mareey waa busily engaged receiving deputations all the afternoon. At 3.30 p.m., Mr Maesey was entertain ed by the ladies at afternoon tea, the function proving a very pleasant interlude to a strenuous day's busineßß.
