Newton King reports:— RAHOTU SALE. At Rahotu on Tuesday of last week there was a small entry, selling at the following prices:—Weaner steers, fair line £2 4s, mixed weaners £1 4s to 30s, empty heifers £2 15s to £2 17s, store cows £2 14a to £3 10s, forward cows £4 to £5 6s, cows and calves £4. At Awatuna on Wednesday 3rd inst, for Mr S. We?ton, junr's. clearing sale I had a good attendance and competition for all lines offered.. The best dairy cows sold up to £9, others, backward £4 to £5 'lss, springing heiferß £7, cows in milk £8 ss.
