Durine the of the case Joseph Sharp gave evidence that six 'months ago he .agreed to become a partner witb Gutsche in a lithographic business, advancing him £25. Subsequently accused showed Sharp an apparatus for making notes, and told him that they could make plenty of money in a short time if Sharp would go to another count; y. Sharp said that that was no good to him. Accused stold him to keep quiet, and they would chinge the notes in New Zealand. Sharp still demurring, Gutsche declared th.at the first mffh who came to the place wo aid he shot deed, and that he would shoot himself afterwards. Sharp then gave the information to the detectives.
