DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS.

Tha following letter in connection with the Tapua block read and the Eokara road has been received by Mr C. K. Wilson, member for tha district, from tfas Minister of Public Works: —"Sir, —I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter, urging the necessity of push ing on with ths work on the Tapua block road and also drawing attention to the condition of temporary bridges cn the Kokara road. In reply I have to advise you that I am obtaining a report regarding these matters and on receipt o£ samq will communicate with yon further. —W. Fraaer, Minister for Public 'Works."
