At last meeting of the Borough Council Cr Howarth drew attention to the unsatisfactory state of the undedicated streets on the eastern side of the river. He said it was apparsct the Council would have to accept the responsibility of ths streets, and in the interests cfthe ratepayers it was desirable tbst the matter should be attended tu without delay. The matter was referred to the Legal and Finance Committee.
