FREEZER FOR FEILDING.
A COMPANY FORMED. A largely attended meeting of farmers was held on Friday for the purpose of considering the advisability of erecting freezing works in the Feilding district. Mr D. H. Guthrie, M.P., who presided, explained that it was proposed to form a company with a nominal capital of £150,000 in £1 shares. The proposal met with unanimous approval. It was resolved to form a company to be calkd ths Orcua Farmers' Freeing Company, Ltd. Provisional directors were appointed and a large number of shares were taken up. It is intended to erect at Aorangi works with capacity for handlirg 2000 sheep per day. The buildings, land, plant, and machinery, etc., are estimated to cost £68,000. "Messrs M. A. Conwsy, E. Short, Hugh Burrell, W. Poulsen, R. A. McKenzip, J. J. Bryce and J. H. Perrett were appointed provisional directors.
