THE Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby givea public notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of Four thousand five hundred pounds (£4500) for the purpose of river deviation, bridge construction, road formations, and filling work at the southern end of Rora and Taupiri streets, acquiring land under "The Public Works Act, 1908." engineering ths contingencies and for the repayment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate not exceeding tbree-eighths of a penny in the pound (|d) upon the unimproved value of the whol; of the Borough for the purpose of providing the required security and to meet the interest and Binking fund charges during the currency of the said loan, which will be for a period not exceeding 36£ years It is proposed to pay out of the said ijoan the cost cf raising same, together with the first year's interest thereon. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Poll of the Ratepayers 'of the Borough of Te Kuiti will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 29th day of April 1914, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., upon the proposal of the Te Kuiti Borough Council to raise a Spe cial Loan of Four thousand fiva hundred Pounds (£4,500) under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913", for the purpose of river deviation bridge construction road formations and filling work at the aouthern end of Rora and Taupiri streets; acquiring land under "The Public Works Act, 1908," engineering and contingencies.
