FOOTBALL.
TE KUITI CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Te Kuiti Football Cub was held on Wednesday evening last. A very fair number of members and intending members were preient. The election of officers resulted a3 follows:—Patron, Mr A. Bcholes; president, Mr N. C. Matthew; vicepresidents, Messrs P. Mora, A. F. Howarth, Dr Will, A. Julian, W. McColl. H. Matthew, F. Langstone, B. Brewer, J. F. Walsh, G« Elliott, J. Williams, H. J. Free, Horner, and F. P. Moorhouse; hon. sec. and treasurer, MrCrean; sel«ction committee, Messrs Rothery, Pitcon, and Langstone. The names of over fifty members were handed in for registration. Messrs Elliott, Rothery, and Matthew were appointed as a sub-commit-tee to go into the matter of obtaining a ground. It is anticipated that the Domain will be fit for play in two months' time. The next meeting will be held in the Chronicle office on Wednesday, April 22nd, at 7.30 p.m.
