METHODIST CHURCH BAZAAR.
The bazaar in aid of the Methodist ! Clurch Building Fund, held in tha Te Kuiti Town Hall yesterday and last night was liberally patronised. The function was opened at 3 p.m. promptly by the Rev. P. Sattey, and throughout tha afternoon good business was done. In the evening the hall was filhed with visitors, and the various competitions provided infinite amusement for young and old. A total of about £4O was realised during the day, and considering that the function was the first promoted by the Methodists in the town, this must be considered highly satisfactory. Excellent work',was done bylone and all and the enthusiasm manifested must be regarded as 'for the future of tha church at Te Kuiti. Following are the stallhoders:—Fancy work, Mrs Daniel! and Mr M. Williams; Mesdames Luders. Wilton, and Higgs; sweets, Mrs Wooles; handkerchief and dolls, Misses Nichuli3 and Daniel ;fish pond, Misses Fitzpatrick and IC. Legg; Bran tub, Miss F. Legg; produce, Mr Higgs; Christmas tree, Mrs Wooles. The competitions were in charge of Mr Elliott and Miss Nicholls, and the tea rooms were excellently managed by Mrs Cantell, assisted by Mesdames Wooahouss, Brookes, and A. Cantell
